Considering the things that I know and speak of, when related to the number of people I tend to confuse on a rather daily basis within here, it's not a matter of 'thinking so'. It simply is when related to 'me'.

You got me. I've never had a single one in my lifetime. I'm probably not the best person to give their opinion on friends, but I can say this much. A lot of people fear being alone more then anything and they'll do anything to avoid it in order to feel accepted.

Sounds like a compliment.

People need companions in order to provide themselves with a form of support. It allows them to stable themselves within the world, yet also opens them up to more pain. A tricky situation.

I must say though, i'm surprised that you've been without one.
