Here's the next edition of 'The German Wags' series: And todays Wag is one of my favorite finally YAY \^o^/ LOL.

It's Petra Frings!
In this interview she sounds really down to earth and she gets cute points, because she proofs even fans can score high with footballers XD lol.
Just go

Firstly here's the original German link: http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/EM-2008/2008/07/05/unternehmerin-petra-frings/bild-serie-die-frauen-unserer-em-helden,geo=5050310.html

The Glitzy world isn't her thing. She works as a interior designer, and likes to wear t-shirts and jeans. And still keeps that autograph, that Torsten gave to her as a teenager.

The cliche of the typical wag: it doesn't fit to Petra Frings (29) at all.

She is a wife. She's a mother. And she's also self employeed.

The wife of our EM Hero Torsten Frings (31) has a degree in Interior Architecture. She's a expert on relocating and is often booked as a interior designer.
Mrs. Frings: "Going along with my contract, I mostly just work in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon".

In the company's name is no mention of the name 'Frings'.

Mrs Frings:" I don't want people coming to me because I'm Torsten's wife, I don't want to profit from that name".

They live again also in Bremen. Here, where after Dortmund and Munich, they feel at their most comfartable.
Mrs. Frings: "I would really like to stay with the family here. Of course, if Torsten had to transfer to another club again we'd come with him. Obviously its his job after all".

Last year the tickets were already ordered, and the suit cases packed. Turin wanted to hire him.
Frau Frings:" We decided has a family, that we'd go there. I wasn't thrilled about it, but some how it would have worked out. But then Werder Trainer Schaaf managed to get Torsten to change his mind. I was actually really relived".

What does a normal day look like in Household Frings?

Frau Frings: "I wake up every morning at 6.30 am. Then its straight to: Making sandwiches and preparing the kids for School and kindergarten - and then everything goes off.
Torsten is still alseep sometimes".

In the afternoons she goes with her daughters, Lisa (7) and Lena (4), to a near by Riding Stables. There live her horse and the girl's pony.
Mrs Frings: "No one would recognize me at the stables. I love wearing t-shirts and jeans anyway. I don't have to go and hit the mirrors every morning anyway. I don't like big scenes in public. If you don't want the big hassel, then you can avoid it to. This whole luxury and glizty world wasn't every my thing".

Petra and Torsten - it all began 14 years ago, in Aachen.
Frau Frings: "I just saw him only once in the stadium. Torsten was playing with the junior's in Alemannia. This whole huge professional career of his, wasn't something I could have known. I just thought: He's cute".

Shortly after that, they both met at a party of a friend.
Mrs Frings:"I asked Torsten for a autograph. He wrote on a piece of paper - and on the back wrote his telephone number. Still to this day I still have that piece of paper".

On the 22nd of December 1998, they got married. This year their 10th wedding anniversary will be celebrated.

And what bad habits does the 'Mr' have?

Frau Frings: "When Torsten is injured then he's unbearable. He isn't relaxed then, then he's got a foul mood. He's so unhappy sometimes that he'll start playing football in the hall. It has happened then that a lamp has been broken. It's then that I know: He's got to get fit again".

Thn it doesn't even help anymore if she cooks him his favorite dish: Geschnetzeltes with rice or lasagne.

On Monday: A wag, who's a champion in show jumping.
