A question for both genders. Guys, do you believe it is expected to go all out and spend all your money on an engagement ring to impress your girlfriend?

Women, does the money dropped on the ring actually increase how much love you feel for your man?

I dont have a super big budget but the ring I suggested for my woman the other day she said was to small so that sucked and now I don't know what to do. So, what's your felling about this?
