just a quick, public fyi: does everyone remember this picture?

well, whether you do or not, that's from september 2007, and the girl's name is courtney. she was(/is? i have no idea + it's unimportant) ryan's friend, and this was her birthday party. she also mentioned him in her journal in 2006 (his ~queer costume, lmao. obviously summer tour)

LOL omg I just realized that the show she's talking about seeing is the same as the one I went to when I saw them for the first time. AWWWW!

Can I rant to you? I saw a fic summary once about how Ryan "gets involved in the Topanga scene" and I just went -_-. LOL there is no ~scene there. If you drive through there at night, it's dark and there are only a few restaurants open. The canyon has been housing hippies and creative types since the 60s and 70s so Ryan's neighbors would not be partying hipsters, but aged hippies and artists who like their quiet and open space to smoke pot. For god's sake, Danny Elfman lives up there. I'm pretty sure Ryan didn't get involved in some hipster scene when he moved out here.
