Today, against the better judgement of my conscience and pocketbook, I signed up for two half marathons, one in April and one in May, the first will be in Whidbey Island, the second in Olympia, I am very excited. These will be my first official half marathons, and I am hoping to use these to judge how good of shape I am in the hopes of getting ( Read more... )

Okay, I read it, and I wish you luck!

I'm pondering the Whidbey Island race. Ran the UltraCentric in TX w/ Dean Karnazes. (Well, I wasn't running "with" Dean -- just getting passed by him scores of times.) But it was cool anyhow.

LOL good deal! I read his book, interesting stuff. If you decide to do th e Whidbey let me know and I will have found some good food joints and what not by that time and maybe we can do a FE thing with anyone else who comes up for it.
