While I totally believe that the one situation would be far more enraging than the other, I'm curious how many people would make that choice if it were presented JUST like that. You know, like "You will get one of two salaries. You will either be paid $50,000.00 a year or $100,000.00 a year. If you pick the first, your co-workers will all receive $25,000.00. If you pick the second, your co-workers will receive $250,000.00. Please chose."
