Court Shoes?

I am hoping someone on here may be able to help me. I am desperately searching for a pair of court shoes, a la Marie Antoinette, though they do not have to be anywhere near as elaborate. What is important is the very distinctive heel shape, that fans out at the top and bottom and narrows in the middle. I am finding it completely impossible to track ( Read more... )

try searching ebay for "granny heel". There were a lot of that type of heel in the 80's oddly enough. You can always try to cover them if the fabric is not right.

Unfortunately the heel would be totally impractical for what I'd be wearing them for (LARP). Thanks for showing them to me though :)

That known as a "Louis heel" or a "French heel," if that helps your search any. I'll ask my mom when she gets home if she knows of suppliers...
