59 days until my 18th century wedding.
my boy and i have been embroidering for what feels like months.

i'm trying to gather the last bits of things needed for our outfits.
and i just realized. stockings! we need silk stockings.

those are a few of the "making of" photos. my stomacher is going to be all goldwork embroidery. and i am making his wig. its almost all hand knotted.
we have been working on this for over a year! i'm so happy its almost over lol.

Eeek! I seem like I'm totally going crazy in here right now, but the idea of an 18th century wedding really excites me. :-P

Oh, good luck! I would love to have an 18th century wedding if I can ever manage to find a man who would consider marrying me. That alone is a difficult task. My current boyfriend does love the 18th century and has indicated that he would love to wear the clothing. So, I might keep my fingers crossed for the future. :-P

Sorry I have no idea about the silk stockings...!
