and as for the socks, I have to wear white knee highs for my dance class. just buy some from Wal Mart. unless you're super tall they should be okay, they work for me and everyone else at my studio!

A+ for use of gilt trim and louis heels. What is the fabric for the gown your friend wore? It's very delicate and yet stable. Just the ticket for this dress.
