Is that a Christian website that you linked to? 'Cause I recognized the movie (from it's trailer on apple.com that I saw), but didn't recognize any of the insane, half-deranged rhetoric that was on that site...
It sure is. About as deeply and twistedly Christian as they come. You have to scroll down practically halfway through the "article" to find their review of the movie. If you root around the site a bit, you'll find 1) a review of "The Passion" as a tool of Satan; 2) a "666 Watch" all about the mark of the beast; and 3) ridiculous biblical tracts. I wanted to find out more about the film after I saw the trailer, so I Googled it. Of course I came up the the UA site and other promotional sites, but I wanted a third-party opinion. I tell you, there's nothing like irrate nonsense-spouting bible-thumpers to make me want to see a film.
Actually, the trailer made me want to see the movie. The wannabe-MC priest kinda put me off, until they had Macaulay Culkin's character asking Mandy Moore's character if she really thought that Jesus was white, and she said, "well of course he's white!" So, yeah, the movie has definitely piqued my interest.
