It's not lazy or slothful in my opinion. To me, the single biggest frustration there is on the planet, is the fact that I am unable to dedicate the time and mental/creative energy towards artistic endeavors, because I have to commit 40+ hours of my week (and the prime hours of the day at that!) to being a wage slave. It's downright depressing how nearly impossible it is for someone to be a full time artist in this day and age, modern life and the government at large just doesn't allow for it anymore.
