Well, now that I've FINALLY settled on a topic, I guess it's time to write the damn paper. I have to do it all - the outline, the literature review, all that stuff. Hm, what an incredibly interesting day. I woke up this morning, didn't feel awesome, but I went to school. I made it through my first class, and felt about ten thousand times worse. Kirsten called me this morning. She invited me to go with her to a concert at The Whiting - the International Youth something or other. It was made up of 5 youth orchestras/wind ensemble (Flint Youth Orchestra, one small youth orchestra from France, one small wind ensemble from France, one small youth orchestra from England and one from Japan). When I woke up this morning (well, actually after I got out of the shower), I knew something wasn't right. I got into a car accident on my way to school this morning. Yesterday, I went to Festival to see Lake Fenton play. Actually, I got suckered into helping move chairs and percussion equipment and stuff. Oh, well. I had fun. The band sounded great. However, the judges were a bunch of assholes, and somehow gave LF straight threes. That was crap. They deserved at LEAST a two. Gonder is so pissed ( Read more... )
