This is absolutely brilliant. The idea of two Sams is one that doesn't get explored often enough, and you've done it magnificently here.

I adore your description of words falling like hammer strokes and Sam cleaving a path through time. ♥

Thank you. There are clearly some really nasty, dark places of Sam's head that would be hell to inhabit. I found all those dim-lit passages through his psyche very unnerving in the show.

Deliciously sinister, and especially loved the notion of TCG as a friend to this entrapped version of Sam. Very chilling and brilliantly done, thank you!

Thank you for commenting. I imagine TCG was probably happy to have her very own Sam tucked away, for keeps.

Thank you very much. I love how this could show made innocence creepy or darkly funny- like the Test Card Girl, or Sam's childhood memories, or (under 'darkly funny'), Camberwick Green.

Thank you. Unsettling is something the show does especially well, imo- all those persistently ringing phones and flickering power.

Oh, I love this. Really unsettling and makes you think. I always did wonder what had happened to Sam Williams...

Me too; I feel like the Williams/Tyler plot point was mainly there to ramp up Sam's angst and self-doubt, and then dropped as soon as it had served that purpose. Quite what might have gone on in Sam William's head, if he was ever real, is a fascinating question.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked.
