The Engineering and Repair crews, having completed all of their work in a timely fashion, left the Enterprise well before the regular crew's scheduled return from shore leave on Risa

Keenser walked through an relatively unknown part of Engineering, hardly anybody could reach this far into the Ship herself. He had decided against going to the Captain’s Party, it held no appeal or interest for him so he had beamed up earlier. He was fed up with the locals staring too. Had they never seen a little green man before?
The small alien grumbled to himself, it had been a very boring and lonely Shore Leave. Nothing to do, no-one to talk to. Sometimes it made him wish he had stayed home rather than joining Starfleet. Going to turn a corner Keenser came to an abrupt halt. What the hell? Who was shining lights down here?
The Enterprise, distracted by testing her new system (and perhaps over-confident that she would have th time and space to herself), failed to note that Keenser was approaching the location she had chosen to try on different looks and continued to cycle through options, slowly narrowing them down.
Keenser’s defence training at the Academy kicked in. He flattened himself to the side of the wall and peeked around the corner. It was a singular Terran female. She wasn’t wearing a Starfleet uniform, so how did she get onboard? He watched as she seemed to admire herself and then stared in awe and amazement as she changed into a completely different woman. Whoa. That was beyond weird.
He decided to confront her and with his hand on his phaser he stepped out from his hiding place he questioned “Who are you and how did you get onboard The Enterprise?”
The Enterprise startled (and a small part of her was pleased to note that her hologram reacted as such), caught completely by surprise.
Briefly she discontinued the hologram before reappearing as yet another possible choice, having quickly checked her internal logs and sensors to determine how long Keenser had been in the vicinity and whether there were any other Organics who might stumble upon her.
"I am The Enterprise." She stated simply, unsure as to how much of an explanation to give at that moment.
