I got the impression that they had a great rapport. He teased her a bit, and she teased him.
The banter back and forth was playful.

(I think he used kid to remind himself that this gorgeous woman is too young for him to be thinking such naughty thoughts about. LOL)

I don't know about that Dan. I've been watching Dave for years, and there was something there. He seemed to want to torment her a bit for some reason. And I agree with Trio, he had NO business showing that underwear picture. The second he even brought it out she immediately looked down and was embarrassed about it and you could see she was sorting out a reply in her head to his next question.

She's a lovely lady, if I was going to be playful with her, I sure wouldn't have done it in this manner.

i agree - i dont watch him regularly, only when hes interviewing someone im interested in, but it seems like with alot of young female actresses, hes just got this air about him that drives me up a wall - like he doesnt take them seriously, rarely seems to even pretend to know about whatever movie or show theyre in, and hes only interviewing them because hes being forced to.

That interview with Letterman just proves why I dislike most late night talk shows hosted by men. They are overpaid douchebags. But Emma was cute and snark!
