So I have decided that as much as I want to say that I have, I really have not changed. I feel like I am the only person who has not grown. I still have the same problems, the same insecurities, let the same things bother me. I still lean on the same people as always, and as you can tell by this i am still as whiny as ever. I feel like I am the only person who has not grown. - Though I can see how you feel this way, I don't think it's true in either respect - that you have not grown, and we have all grown extensively. Most problems and insecurities people have they carry around with them their whole lives, not just for certain parts of their lives. It takes really hard work to get rid of them, and can you honestly say you've been able to work really hard at it with all the demands that school has put on you the past 4 years? I don't think anybody has changed very significantly from who they were when we graduated high school, and I don't think that makes them failures either (and yes, I include myself in this). If the things you want to change are really bothering you, then there's nothing for it but for you to try and change them, even if it means years and years of hard work, which it might ( ... )

You know I'm not the talk-about-your-feelings friend or the let-me-assure-you-when-you-haven't-directly-asked-me-for-it friend, but what Megs said is true. And I love you, or whatever. DON'T MAKE ME BE MUSHY, DAMN IT.
