I just finished overhauling my livejournal, as I am sure everyone notices. It was a pain in the ass, but I like to think the results were somewhat worth it, of course, if large amounts of people scream at me to switch it back and present a logical reason I'll probably do it

Ooooooh, pretty new layout. The only tweak I might suggest is widening your entry divs if possible with a percentage, because on my resolution it's taking up less than half the screen which makes it a bit distracting to read. But I love the new color scheme-much easier on my eyes than the one you had before-and your background is gorgeous! Yay for LJ prettifying. *pets*

Also, have I mentioned lately that I love you? 'Cause I so do! And if you ever can't keep up with me (hell, I can't keep up with me most days), don't feel bad at all about taking me off your flist. A happy Jan makes a happy Sheera makes a generally happier world all around :D

Aw, yay. I totally need happy vibes right about now. I'm definitely keeping your writing journal on my radar, because everything you write is awesome. I know I haven't been up on my commenting lately, but hopefully you forgive me.

Hm, yeah. It's definitely possible I'll just do as Mia said below and switch the comment page to normal LJ layout. If not, I'll keep that in mind.

Of course, if I do anything else tonight I'll probably just break everything. I'm seriously nodding off against the screen, looooooong day.

Actually, for reasons related to my re-organizing of my fic, I kind of prefer if people don't leave comments on my writing posts at the moment, so I more than forgive you, I offer you a cookie. :D

True, there is that option. What layout is this that you're using? Depending on the way the divs are lined up, it could just be a simple width: 80% (or whatever number) insertion as a CSS override and then it wouldn't be noticeable even at high screen resolutions.

This is the generic layout, I believe it's generator or something like that. Picked especially because it's easy to mess with, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Yeah, it's a great possibility I'll do that. Probably less distracting all around. Though you mentioning that totally made me realize I never notice exactly where the text is on my screen. Which is making me laugh.

I'll never mind hearing you ramble. (And that would make things easier, well, possibly. I honestly never know, with the type of person I am.)
