Oh Gotham. Bruce/Gotham is the most canon OTP in the DC universe, and you capture that so nicely here. I love the mercurial qualities captured in the line I quoted. And the sensuality of the "shudder of wind" at the end...delicious.

I need to have birthdays to pull you out of vacation more often if we get drabbles like this! *grin*

It's just so *there*, in a way nothing else in DCU is. I mean, I pair Bruce with just about anyone (or *try*), but Gotham is always his true love.
