For years (like, since middle school) I thought I'd had some sort of low-level depression going on. I always found ways to blame it on external factors...geographic location, lack of college degree, an unhappy marriage...Yesterday I found out what I most likely have is actually General Anxiety Disorder which, luckily, is treatable.  I'll be going ( Read more... )

It's a shame it took your present set of circumstances to find this out but better late than never, eh? At least now you have a name for what you've been feeling and the opportunity to learn about it and hopefully make things better/easier for you. :hugs:

Umm, hadn't planned on it, but thanks for the tip. I'd actually been thinking about the Lutheran church to which we send Jess to preschool, though.

As far as I know, the Lutherans won't teach you how to levitate or kill people with your mind, but my guess is that the tithe is cheaper than the Scientology fees - and you'll probably get a good recipe for ebleskiver out of the deal, too boot! So it's win-win.
