When we talk about the whole idea of deciding what's good/evil, how exactly does one measure evil? By good deeds vs bad deeds? You can't really do that anymore. A lot of people have good intentions or do things for a good reason, but you might find that it was overall a bad thing. So really, the only person to judge one's evilness is one's self. And most people won't just delcare themselves evil anyway. Anyway, I really think that Gerard really didn't even think it through as much as we do.
