I missed this scene the first time it aired, had to go back and rewatch it. I really do feel for Shane - he's starting to lose it at this point. I don't think he really would've done it though - he'd already stopped himself by the time Dale saw him. As far as boinking the wife, in the comics, they didn't even think Rick was dead - they just left him in Atlanta. And Lori started it with Shane. But yeah, killing Hunny Bunny would be BAD! That gif is only the beginning (excellent gif by the way :D)
Thank you muchly doll! I'm glad you liked it :D

In the comics, Lori wanted to take Carl to her parents' in Atlanta, thinking it would be safer there. Rick was in the hospital so Shane took them & then discovered that Atlanta was not what they thought it would be, like in the show. She made the first move on Shane in the comics.
Thank you! I'm very glad you're enjoying them! I'm having a lot of fun writing them :D
Keep going with your This Life fic! So far, I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Thank you doll! ♥

I really like how they're playing Shane as more of a sympathetic character in the show versus the comic. I've really developed an appreciation for Jon Bernthal as an actor & I'm glad to have him still around for at least part of season 2. He's quite an interesting character on so many levels. He's so lonely but he's lonely because he's surrounded by the people he loves and can't have them the way he wants.

Shane is most definitely losing his grip though. As you said, it's more evident in TS-19. I don't think he really intended to hurt Lori - I think he was just desperate to make her see that he loves her and that she loves him, no matter that Rick is back. He's trying so hard to hold on to what they had & it's making him mad. I'm very curious to see how season 2 plays out.

Yeah, I wonder how long that's gonna last? Shane looked too close to edge for comfort.

Interesting look from Shane's POV. I like!

Probably not long at all - darlin' Shane is REAL close to the brink! It won't take much to give him a push right over that edge :(

Thank you! I've developed an appreciation for Shane and I'm having fun walking around in his head :o)
