VOTE VOTE VOTE

I don't care who you want in office, if you're an American and 18 or over, get the hell out there and VOTE. Remember, no bitching about results if you didn't bother to affect them.

NaNoWriMo is in holding pattern. Fell short of my 2000 a day word count yesterday. Bummer.

vote, elections

You didn't update your word count yet! It still says you're at zero of 50,000 words. NaNo just put up a new server so you should be able to get on without so many timeouts now :DDDD How much have you written so far?

There was a guy at the voting booth next to mine. I swear, he must have just turned eighteen. Made me happy.

I meant to take advantage of advanced voting, but never made the time. Line wasn't too bad first thing in the morning.

Fire alarm went off while I was casting my ballot, though.

*laughs* I'm voting after work. Going straight to the polls. And taking a book just in case it's a long line.

I always take a book. Gives me something to do and helps me avoid the nosy people who ask you who you're voting for.

... Four hours after getting in line, I read a chapter in my book, played a couple games of solitaire, a couple games of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire with the other people in line and took a grand total of 2 minutes casting my ballot.
