Despite my previously expressed reservations about it, I've somehow ended up learning to drive. It's not... the worst, but it does terrify me a little. God, curbs are just the most annoying thing, but I really like driving with a clutch! It makes me feel so much safer, even if braking is a pest. I feel so much more grown up driving a car that

The first, and only, time I tried to drive our family's F250 Super Duty I almost hit a school bus.

And motorcyclists terrify me. I'm pretty sure I got all the "what to do if a motorcycle..." questions wrong on my written test in driver's ed. Haha

I don't think anyone got all the questions right in Driver's Ed... it's such a strange class! For instance, we had to memorize the way you tilt your wheels while parking on a hill - it was never explained to us, we all just were led to believe it was arbitrary.

First time I got to drive I hit a garbage can. It was at a drive-thru... anyways, I never got my license - I use the BMW - bus metro walk - and it gets me anywhere I want =)

but no road-tripping...

Ah, a fast food restaurant...? That'd be a little public for my comfort, heh!

People keep telling me I'm going to have to have to drive when I grow up, but I'm kind of skeptical, especially with modern transit. :P

Aw, man, I know, right? I felt that way for such a loooooooong time. But once you're ready, ~~~~YOU KNOW~~~~. It's like falling in love.

So yeah, I hope that works out for you too, eventually! It can be really annoying getting around all the administrative processes though. xD;;
