Here's yet more proof that universities are more interested in indoctrination than quality education. One university is looking into giving Gore an Honorary Doctorate for his work regarding global warming.

Oscars, honorary doctorates, endless accolades. All that for a movie that really just wasn't good.

My favorite quote from the film (and there are many):
"I had such faith in our democratic system, our self-government, I actually thought and believed that the story would be compelling enough to cause a real sea change in the way Congress reacted to that. I thought they would be startled and they weren't.

Why I'm the only one who sees that quote indicates a rejection of freedom "for our own good" I don't understand.
