how about writing as catharsis? i think much more of reading as catharsis these days as i find myself unable to express absolutely anything in words strung together by myself as opposed to recognizing what i mean to say in what is put down by someone else

i feel it's very important for you to know that i deeply identify with just about everything you're going through and i'm sad we didn't get to talk much more last weekend, though it was lovely just seeing you. i'll make my way over there soon and we'll have collaborative existential epiphanies galore and take over the world with our newfound perspectives.
