have you ever noticed a little something and then let your imagination play with (even plausible) ideas to the point where you don't actully feel like investigating what's actually going on because you don't want the realism to tell your imagination to pick up its toys

Yeah, sometimes I get that if I wander around with my glasses off... I see all sorts of weird things, because my vision is so bad.

I was wandering around these docks in Sausalito at night one time and way out at the end of one pier/whatever was this like... castle. It was huge, and black, and just SITTING there on the water... we called it the Vampire House and thought about going back in the morning to see what it really was... but it was way cooler to just leave it and just pretend like if we'd gone to see it in daylight it wouldn't be there.

You gotta keep the magic somehow..
