I need a story in which Liam has synesthesia. How it affects his perception of the world around him, what it does to the things he experiences during his journey, bonding with the boys on the X Factor and their first tour together. And after that, Zayn's the first person other than Liam's parents that he's ever told. He just feels comfortable sharing with Zayn because they're so close. So close they end up kissing by accident once, and it's intense and confusing and a mess of stimuli flooding his brain, and Liam's pretty sure it's mostly because of his synesthesia, but he thinks this also might be what love feels like.

this is really kind of gorgeous and beautiful and i'm in love with this prompt. wow

i really, really want to fill it, but i'm worried that i love it too much and i'll end up writing a bigbang-length fic. unless you don't mind...

also, did you have a specific idea in mind for what type of synesthesia affects liam?

Honestly, I think it would absolutely wonderful if you made this a longer fic. I think it would work really well if there was enough time to flesh it all out. (And a longer version of this seems to be popular with a few other anons, so you should probably go for it ( ... )
