It's late at night, when the sun has set and everyone is asleep, or at least they seem to be, that they sneak out. Head into the jungle. Seek the wild side of the island.
The con man and the rock star quickly realized how similar they were and had a connection, but they were also very different in some ways. Sawyer, for one thing, hated to sneak around, hiding like a coward. But Charlie wasn't ready, and he respected that.
Even if it was in a (seemingly) deserted island in the middle of nowhere and to a bunch of strangers who shared a near life experience with them, the british musician just wasn't ready to come out.
So they sneak into the darkness that is the jungle to hold their hands, get close, kiss, maybe even shag as quietly as possible (which was difficult to accomplish). At least for now.
