"I'm growing tired of your rich white girl bullshit" is Rebecca's way of saying hello when she answers the phone.
"Hello to you too" Lila replies. "How are yo-"
"Save it, Lila. I know why you're calling me" Rebecca interrupts. "I know your parents cut you off. And unlike you, I need money, so I can't waste my time or my drugs on you if you can't pay for them, goodbye."
"Wait, wait, I can!" Lila insists, her voice trembling, but Rebecca had already ended the talk by pressing the tiny red phone and tossing the cellphone to the bed.
Then there's a knock on the door. Rebecca goes to answer eventually, and nearly slammed the door on her face right away.
"Just hear me out, please" the girl begs, and Rebecca sighs; rich girl just never knew when to give up. "Here's the deal; I need the drugs. I already promised the sorority I'd get them for the party... but I can pay you. Not with money... otherwise."
Rebecca looks at her questioningly. Lila gives her a "duh-what-do-you-think-I-mean" look. Rebecca's eyes widen immediately.
"What the hell, Lila?!"
"Look, I'm a psychology student... it wasn't hard to figure out what you're into" Lila declared, extending a hand towards her. "So, do we have a deal?"
"What about your celibacy pact with Griffin?"
"What he doesn't know can't hurt him."
Rebecca bites her lip, considers every possible scenario for a minute or two... then takes the hand and pushes Lila inside.
