Faith is awfully silent, perhaps for the first time in her life. Angelus smirks, as if victorius, as if he has successfully broken her spirit.
She watches Angel get up and leave the place. The guy lies on the cold ground, lifeless, all blood drained from his body. Angel did not kill the man, but all of them in that room (real part of the memory or not) knew that it was just as if he had; he had fed, a thing he had promised himself not to do ever since his soul was restored and he could see the horrors Angelus had done.
And yet, he had done that.
"Disappointed, Faithie?" Angelus taunts. "You thought we were two different people, two different vampires?"
Faith's silence only allows him to continue tormenting her. Which he does, gladly.
"Your angel in shining armor may have a soul, but he also has me. I'm always here, Faith, and we're both one. We're both monsters, and we're both siners. Even with a soul, he's still me."
"No" a single word escapes her lips. He grins, ready to conitnue mocking her, but she speaks up. "Angel did not feel good about feeding. He did not dance in joy after that, he walked away with that kicked puppy look of his. He's different, I know it."
Angelus grins one last time before the scene fades. "Whatever you say, Faithie."
