I seem to have developed a habit of randomly pressing the right mouse button when my hand is just resting on my mouse. I usually catch myself just as the button is depressed, so I then keep my finger held down to stop the right click menu from firing, but then I realise that there is no way of cancelling it so i just let go and then left click off

Yeah it is. Someone at work recommended it, apparently they try to get every new programmer to read it as we try to stick to quite a few of the ideas.
