I’m getting married, to whom is not specified, and my whole extended family is gathered at my childhood home (which was sold long ago). I’m trying on potential wedding dresses in my old room, and I come across a really cute early 60’s type red mini dress. Red is the traditional color for wedding dresses in China; it's the color of good luck.

isn't there something about Maria the main character from West Side Story, and her white dress with the red sash? ...something about deflowering the purity, or soemthing. ...some sort of romeo and juliet inner story going on in that one, though. ...fighting, violence, families up against families. and she's in the middle, right ( ... )
