Is anyone on Flixter? I've been wishing that there were equivalents of Goodreads for music and film, but I don't know of any. I checked out flixter, but it's got this really off-putting mainstream feel to it. Transformers is given close to a perfect aggregated score - ugh.

For film, our netflix account recommendations and in-person friend mentions works well enough. For finding music I'm on Last.FM and I also use pandora. Also, I listen to a variety of internet radio and podcasts.

yeah, i forgot about netflix - maybe if I sign up again that'll do.

i've been thinking about joining lastfm - i use it all the time to check out bands (those that don't have myspace pages). do you prefer that or pandora?
