Anyone know anyone wanting to get rid of a futon that's in decent condition? I'm in need of one, as my apartment is tiny, but new ones are surprisingly expensive!

yay, that'd be awesome! and i know it doesn't have cooties because you've probably Lysoled the crap out of it on a regular basis ;-) plus it'll give me an excuse to come see you - not that i need one, but i've been meaning to call you lately and things've just been kinda hectic what with moving and other stuff. I'm in downtown oakland now so we're practically neighbors!

yeah, the move to oakland was a very recent, and last-minute, development. Oakland'll take some getting used to, but i'm enjoying it so far. and it's great being closer to work. We'll definitely have to hang out more now - are you willing to come up to downtown once in a while?

maybe i can borrow my dad's van and head down that way some night next week, we could have dinner and I could grab the futon - you sure you don't want it anymore? I could also come down Sat or Sun during the day. whatever works for you :)

thanks! you're still willing to trust me with it? ;-) I may not actually need it, since i might use my mom's truck, depending on timing, but we'll see.

a friend of mine from sf state music dept had this as her facebook status update:

thinks there is no place for duct tape on undergarments. Just fly free, man, or drop the three dollars for a new pair of shorts.

someone else mentioned the movie Gummo and how it showed the world the power of duct tape breast enlargement procedures. never seen it, but have you?

i've never seen Gummo, but it looks sufficiently weird - I might like it ;-)

hope you're doing well there and that things have gotten better - what's happening with you?

I'm alright. I did a little video of some birds in the park. Turns out they're jackdaws. the word for that in Danish is allike, pronounced ellikuh.

cool, I wonder if those are the same kind of birds i saw in Krakow - they kicked up an enormous ruckus right at sunset. i thought i was in some crazy polish version of 'the birds' ;-) it was neat.
