"He took a bird in the face at 120 knots"

OK, the google is failing me. What book is this quote from? I'm thinking either Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas or Breakfast of Champions?

Anyone?

Also, i'm not sure if it was a "bird" or a "chicken" ... and I'm not sure exactly how many knots it was...

It was Cayce's mantra in Pattern Recognition. ""He took a duck in the face at two hundred and fifty knots."

I'm pretty sure that's from the newspaper article about Fabio.

Tell your coworker to stop copying me!

Also, when are we ever going to hang out? I have lots of free time, now.

that sounds ominous - you haven't been a victim of the budget-cuts, have you? :(
