i finished packing for my road trip with mama this weekend. i even pre-pitched the tent in the backyard to make sure there were no holes and all the pieces were there. it smells faintly musty, reminding me of camping as a kid with my parents and falling asleep to rain hitting the canvas roof and seeing shadows made by the moon and trees creaking
