I went to a new hair salon yesterday on the recommendation of a co-worker who sells hair dye to salons. The colorist is supposed to be one of the best and at reasonable cost. I asked how much for the coloring

Geez, that's horrible!

I never get my hair dried when I get it cut because I know that they'll tack on a styling fee. But still, $28?! I never would expect that much.

Two of my best friends are hair dressers and neither of them would ever charge $28 for drying! That's highway robbery! If they do a color, the drying is included. And even if it is separate, $8-$10 is the most they should charge.

I don't blame you for being mad about that!

That's awful. Even the discount hair places around here don't charge for blow-drying if you've had something else done.
