No offense, but, gratuitously self-pimping belly shot asde, I preferred watching the interviews with the blond photog from the Fangirls Project, and your new filmmaker friend. Bacon Ice Cream needs more girls than it needs "8 more minutes with another guy in a black t-shirt".

I also think this interview would have been more compelling if your interviewer had pressed you in the air at some point. Move the show into a more "vanquished posture" format. Guests are interviewed at sword point, under boot, or otherwise pinned and at this man's mercy.

P/R notes: Maybe rather than cover upcoming RTG products with a partner, when the partner's already given a pitch, talk about how kick-ass the events you ran were. "Sell" the product you got in other words, instead of pitching stuff you don't have the clearance to see ... yet.

Unsure who this is...but ok.

I'm pimping it because honestly, Diabolik and crew are awesome guys, and I love hanging with em! Yes, the interviews with the various ladies, they ruled, no argument.

Pressed me in the air? Seriously, I think some of the other footage they'll be releasing soon will be more interesting.

As for pitching things that I "don't have the clearance to see...yet." My status with that has been discussed privately...and considering at-con circumstances, I don't believe any misstep, misspeaking, or overstepping my bounds occurred. I'm sure that if there were John would have completely kicked my ass over it, in addition, he wouldn't have been discussing it publicly at DexCon himself. So on that one...yeah...not worrying. ^_^

Oh, I wasn't saying you were somehow going to get in trouble with RTG, or transgressing or anything like that. What I meant was that you're talking up the stuff down the pipe which you aren't exactly in the know about came off really vague, perhaps making them sound more like vaporware to your audience (at worse). More effective use of your screen time would have been pumping up how kick ass your events were, and how awesome the product you're shilling is, so that your audience would be like "damn, I want a piece of that action" and send the flood of orders for product in. People just sound better in proportion to the degree they know what they're talking about. But hey, I get paid to do this sort of communication consulting, so what do I know when I'm pro bono-ing?

ok, on that note, yes, I'll DEFINITELY agree, a better use of my time would have been to plug current RTG materials. The problem I see / saw with that is /was that 90% of the material that I have is old. No denying it. Most of this stuff was published round-abouts 20 years ago.
I've been working on some marketing strategies for this, and I was counting heavily on a better reception from the die-hards when the new stuff came out, unfortunately the response was less than stellar, and with Mike in the wind and constantly flip-flopping (as it appears to me) on what to do, I've decided I am going to continue working on some angles, but hold off until Mike makes a move that I can follow up on. When that happens..well...stay tuned. :)
