Ruling: Pointing out stupidity backfires against KH on two counts:
1.) You got a Chinese fortune cookie with your Japanese sushi?
2.) "An empty stomach is not a good political adviser" actually is a thoughtful metaphor. You could say some of the marches in DC and the French Revolution ("The People have no bread" "let them eat cake) were made on empty stomachs. I disagree with the conservative, keeping the status quo, sentiment of the cookie, but it does speak to something.
Lesson Learned: Confucius is smarter than you, even when translated into Japanese before being translated into English.
See, I think it's a bit of a stretch. I realize that political change does usually come on the heels of the public's inability to have their basic needs met. If you can't eat, you over throw the french, if you can't afford the fuel, you vote Democrat. Ok, maybe maybe not (not gonna start preaching politics here...at least not while I'm still sick).
Regardless, if that was what they're going for, I'd really rather my food not offer me political advice. I also don't want it to look at me with pity, and I don't want my food talking to me.
I like my food like I like my women...dead and submissive ^_^ ....ewwww.... hee hee

Basically, don't listen to someone who is hungry for something (typically power) when it comes to making strategic long-term social decisions.
