Okay, now you HAVE to come down to visit....come next friday I'm getting myself some ROCK BAND!
Yes, I can afford it. Getting it at a massive discount due to a friend of Mals, but don't tell anyone at the Best Buys ^_^
Sucks that I had to miss Ubercon, but I should be heading to Gencon, and the more the merrier there....hint hint. *poke*

We'll see what we do about Gencon, I'm unsure if I can / afford to go.
Hey, if you can hook me up with a cheap copy for my XBOX I'd love ya forever ^_^

Sorry davey, but my job was to provide the materials for the game, teach the rules, and then be around in the general area to answer questions. I'm sorry if your girlfriend thought it was my job to sit there and hold her hand but this was something I cleared ahead of time with Andrew Hayes, the head of boardgaming at Ubercon, so I could add more games run to his schedule. If your girlfriend has a problem with that, I suggest you have her chat with him about it.

I'm not going to get into it, because frankly, I wasn't there. All I could go on was her word. All I know, from when I run events, is I'm there, start to finish, I leave only to either use the restroom (then promptly return) or announce a brief recess to grab a munchie or something (with the same aftermath). Obviously I'm going to take her side regardless of a contrary POV without hard, unbiased, irrefutable evidence to support it, I'm sorry, but I know how my relationship will go otherwise, and a dispute over a convention event isn't exactly how I'd like to say goodbye to a relationship.
All I know is she also remarked you didn't even have materials, and she didn't like your demeanor and apparently, if I'm recalling correctly, there were similar feelings from other participants.
I've said my piece, and the matter is closed on this blog.
