I come home from work this morning and take Rosie outside. She pees and we go towards the calfs in the backyard. She lets out a single bark at them. My dad cut the grass yesterday, so the wet clippings stuck to our shoes/paws. When we get in the house, it all eventually fall onto the floor. I don't see Butterscotch eat 2 of the clippings. I brought Rosie home yesterday, and she did quite well here. Leaving her foster home, she walked right into the car. Once in the car, she put sat in my lap and looked out the window the entire way home. Once home, I walked her on her leash around the back yard for a while. For the last month or so, I've been really wanting a dog. Longer than that actually, but in the last month it's been on my mind pretty much everyday. Discovery launched successfully! Yay! What a thrill it must be to be sitting in that rocket. It'd be even more thrilling seeing Earth from space. I'll be the first to admit that I am so jealous of them right now.

For the last few years we've had a cookout and watched fireworks on the 4th of July.
