01: Brand New Digital World...!

Well...it's my first time in this new Digital World-that's not like the one I remember at all, except for the sky-and, quite a lot has happened to me in a short time. (laughs faintly)

Guilmon and I accidentally crash-landed on top of Sokka and his Garurumon, and I got to meet Yagami Taichi from the Digimon series! Not to mention I had a sword

...Oh, yeah; Taichi did mention he wasn't the only one of his friends who'd found their way here. (laughs lightly)

Anyway, where my friends and I are from everything you guys have gone through is a television series and a card game. The series didn't last that long though; the ratings were high at the start but then things kinda tumbled down near the end.

So, how'd you get here Takeru? ^^;

Still no idea. One moment I'm awaiting the second Odaiba team's retirement party and the next I'm here with a new digivice and Patamon.

... I don't know how to feel about my childhood trauma being shown to young kids though, but I guess that isn't your fault.

(smiles faintly) Blame the writers; that's what I do on occasion. And it's because of your adventures that I got involved in Digimon and became a Tamer to begin with.

It's alright-I've had lots of things pointed at my throat from time to time. This is just the first time it was a sword. (laughs lightly)

Well...yeah; that's just how it is back in my world! The show's doing much better in syndication than it did before, weirdly enough...

And, yeah-I'm a different Takato than the one you...what?! There's another me somewhere out there? With another Guilmon?!

Fraid so. I'm a different Takeru than the one that Koushiro knows, and a different Takeru from the one Taichi knows, and a different Takeru from the one that Daisuke and Yamato know. And we're not sure if those last two are from the same time period either.
