The only shame is in standing still... [chuckles] and there's been no chance of it. This city is as busy as any other, and it's been a busy day. A productive day; I'm pleased with what's done, although I can't say the same for what seems to be happening here. Not much help for it now... but there will be time to try. Yes, this place does seem to be in a rather sad state of affairs, doesn't it? A sad thing, for it is quite a beautiful place. It reminds me a little of home, and yet is so different in so many ways...

Strangers in a strange land indeed, but that is what makes it interesting I think: the chance to meet so many new people and learn from them.

...and, uh, that bit earlier - I was messing around with the journal, seeing what I could do with it. I'm still getting used to the thing.

I don't know if we'll be able to find grass, but there should be some greenery that suits you. To be honest, I'm most interested in fish, but soup sounds alright.
