I know not what has happened to your friends, but you are not the only one to have round that something was wrong. My friend and I are trying to find the cause, ourselves.

As far as I'm aware, they've slipped out of the city as we've slipped in, and I'm not worried for either---I know them too well for that.

Not as of yet---I've only heard anything on the matter from yourself and Spirit so far. I'll be moving nearer the northwest soon, I suppose, hoping to sense something.

There's an odd smell coming from the northwest. I'm not sure what it is, but it smells big, with a bunch of smaller relations. I don't like it.

I've been all right, everything considered. Been hanging around that cafe thing we ate at a while back - it's the only place I've been able to find food; I can meet you there. This place is really starting to reek of whatever-it-is, so I think I should be able to get you and that other guy there to the 'mother'.
