this was the 3rd show i've been to this year where the band made a joke about finishing in time for the audience to get home and pay the babysitter.

yeah. at this point i'm older than just about any band/musician i listen to (well, except for the ones that are dead (does that stop the clock, or just erase it?), or the few that refuse to die and haven't started sucking as a result).

at least i don't have kids i have to get home to :-)
