River yawned and rolled out of bed, literally. She lay on the floor wrapped in her blanket, blinking. "Why Seely?"

"I like him," Buffy replied, turning her head to look at River. "He's funny and cute." And the only one who's asked me out since Sam.

River nodded, refraining from making comments about Seely. She stared up at the ceiling. "I know where my dreams come from. The bad ones."

Buffy sat up. "The ones that make you run away?" She'd noticed that River had been spending nights not in her bed lately.
