"Hey, Buffy," Z said as she peered into the room. "I can't stay, but, uh, happy birthday," she said as she held out a gift bag, the contents of which were dressed in a tiny cheerleading uniform.

Buffy giggled at the sight. "Just like my poster!" She gave Z a once over. "Did you get out of the cave thing okay? Being kidnapped is totally a valid reason for missing cheerleading practice, by the way."
