As her plan was set in motion, Takano tried to forget the face of that orange-haired girl, one of the villagers she'd have to kill; it was necessary, but for some reasno she didn't want her to die.

Rena had never expected to live less than Takano, given that he was younger, but for her to die so young, that was just too horrible.

She had never taken pride on her singing skills, but Rena was quite a good singer, or so did Takano say anyway.

Their relationship was sudden, but comfortable, and felt just so good...

Whenever Rena stopped her, Takano knew something about Oyashiro-sama was about to come up, and she was never wrong.

Perhaps, with the help of time, Rena could forget Takano and move on, but as long as she kept waiting for Tomitake to arrive and take her on the next visit, it was doubtful.

The power the younger girl had over her was inexplicable, yet very amusing.

Sometimes, it bothered her that Takano seemed like such a controller, but Rena ended up liking it in the end.

"There is no God" Takano assured her "no God like Oyashiro-sama, at least, and don't worry about it, Rena-san, in the worst of cases, I will protect you."

The walls wouldn't protect her from Takano, Rena knew that, but at least it gave her time on how to defeat her former lover.

Rena's body, once naked, looked like more of an adult than that of a child, but her expression made her look like a child who didn't udnerstand well what he was doing.

As Takano drove by, Rena signaled at her and the woman stopped; she always gave her a lift when she saw her going back from school.

The only harm she could think of about her relationship with Rena was that, eventually, she'd have to murder her and the rest of Hinamizawa... well, that was just a detail to her anyway.

Takano could never think of Rena as something precious, at least not until the end, when she could truly see her.

Rena's hunger brought them to the Angel Mort and for the first time, with everyone's eyes on them, they held hands as they had their lunch.

Rena knew that she wouldn't be able to stop Takano, and the she'd only buy, Shion, Satoko and Rika a little more time, but she had to see that Takano was evil with her own eyes; she couldn't believe it otherwise.
