Yuugiou; Malik x Ryou

Feb 14, 2006 14:54

Fandom: Yuugiou
Pairing: Malik Ishtar x Bakura Ryou
Theme Set: Alpha
Rating: G to NC-17, just to be safe - most things are implied.
Notes: Prepare for fluff. Lots of fluff. =|

#01 - Comfort:
Malik was prone to bouts of slight depression, as he still felt remorse for the crimes he had committed during Battle City; all Ryou could do was just open his arms and offer solace, for he had indirectly taken part in some of those crimes as well.

#02 - Kiss:
Ryou could not explain the surge of warmth that came whenever Malik’s lips came into contact with his, but he definitely knew one thing: he’d never get tired of it.

#03 - Soft:
At the risk of ruining the moment, Malik allowed himself to laugh a little as Ryou’s hair lightly dragged across his bare chest - what could he say; it tickled!

#04 - Pain:
Ryou couldn’t even begin to imagine the agony that Malik had gone through when he received the Tombkeeper’s Initiation - though he’d had his fair share of physical damage, his pain was mostly psychological - but he was still there to soothe Malik’s aches.

#05 - Potatoes:
Ryou was always a handy person to have around when Malik attempted to peel potatoes, if only for the fact that he’d have someone to kiss his cuts better.

#06 - Rain:
Malik hated rain, simply put - but when the warmth of the sun was unavailable, he would just turn to Ryou, and the downpour outside would be completely forgotten.

#07 - Chocolate:
Malik hadn’t tasted plain chocolate before, and to be honest, he didn’t particularly care to; he liked it just fine when it was on Ryou’s lips.

#08 - Happiness:
Malik’s life had had its fair share of sad moments and happy ones, but there were two particular ones where he believed he was the happiest: the first time he saw the light of day, and the first time he shared a kiss with Ryou.

#09 - Telephone:
The first time he heard a telephone ring, Malik was startled beyond belief; he hesitated when Isis told him to pick it up and say hello, but he immediately calmed down when he heard the gentle voice on the other end.

#10 - Ears:
Malik was a bit curious: judging from the way that Ryou would constantly play with his dangling earrings, he seemed to have some sort of fixation with them - though he certainly didn’t complain when Ryou decided to use his tongue instead of his fingers.

#11 - Name:
“My name is Namu,” Malik said as he shook Jounouchi’s hand, keeping up his disguise - but when he’d helped the wounded Ryou over to his friends, his worry was more than just an act.

#12 - Sensual:
According to Malik, Ryou had no idea how hot he looked upon emerging from the shower, with his wet hair falling down his back, and the towel precariously draped around his waist; it took all of Malik’s willpower to keep from jumping the boy right then and there.

#13 - Death:
The ‘death’ of his darker half had been one of the most gratifying moments in Malik’s life - the fact that that cute white-haired boy would wake up was an added bonus.

#14 - Sex:
Their first time had been painfully awkward - neither of them had much of an idea of what to do, so they spent most of the time experimenting and seeing what felt good; however, neither Malik or Ryou would trade that time for anything in the world.

#15 - Touch:
Malik shivered as Ryou’s delicate fingers traced the patterns on his back; normally, he wouldn’t let anybody touch them, but Ryou’s hands were so gentle that he felt as if the scars were being healed instead of re-opened.

#16 - Weakness:
He’d once thought that the thief’s vessel was extremely weak since he allowed himself to be controlled by the spirit, but once he learned of Ryou’s desire to be rid of the tomb robber, he also discovered that the boy wasn’t quite as weak as he’d first assumed.

#17 - Tears:
For every tear that he saw fall from Ryou’s eyes, Malik could feel another symbol being carved into his back.

#18 - Speed:
Ryou’s heart was beating so fast, that he thought it might jump right out of his chest; the second he heard that short phrase whispered into his ear, he swore that’s what it did.

#19 - Wind:
Malik sighed as he felt Ryou’s brush running through his hair - it had been unusually windy outside today, so that when he came inside, it looked like he’d been caught inside a typhoon.

#20 - Freedom:
Ryou knew that Malik’s darker half had been banished, never to return - now, if only he could be freed from the darkness that bound him…

#21 - Life:
When he was younger, there were many times when Malik wanted to just give up on life so he wouldn’t have to go through the Initiation; of course, when he met Ryou, he thanked the Gods that he never gave up.

#22 - Jealousy:
Malik couldn’t help but feel jealous of Yami no Bakura - after all, who was he to compete with someone who shared Ryou’s soul?

#23 - Hands:
One would think that living underground for most of his life would cause Malik’s hands to be rough and dry - a result of touching stone day in and day out - but Ryou knew otherwise.

#24 - Taste:
The taste of fresh strawberries always reminded him of Malik, if only for the fact that it was the first fruit that they’d shared together.

#25 - Devotion:
“At least you don’t have to worry about being cheated on… since nobody else wants me the way you do.”

#26 - Forever:
Neither of them really believed in the concept of ‘eternity’, since they would likely go their separate ways after death - so they promised to stay by each other’s side for as long as time would allow.

#27 - Blood:
Malik eyed the spirit of the Sennen Ring as he drug the knife through his arm; why should he have to spill his own host’s blood in order to seal their pact?

#28 - Sickness:
The irony of the situation was not lost on Ryou, though he did find it strange that this time, he was the one standing over Malik with the thermometer.

#29 - Melody:
When he was in a bad mood, Malik only answered his cellphone when a certain little tune played; that way, he knew it was someone worth talking to instead of a telemarketer.

#30 - Star:
Since he’d been sheltered for the majority of his life, Malik always turned to Ryou with any questions he had; however, there was one question that even Ryou couldn’t answer - how, exactly, did Yuugi manage to keep his hair in that shape?

#31 - Home:
“There were too many bad memories back in Egypt,” Malik had answered - Ryou had been curious about why he had returned to Domino City - but judging from the intense gaze Malik was giving him, he suspected that that wasn’t the only reason.

#32 - Confusion:
Ryou was by no means a manipulative person, but he had learned a couple of tricks from the spirit of the Ring; on occasion, he liked to say something completely nonsensical, just because Malik looked so adorable when he was confused.

#33 - Fear:
Malik was a little unnerved by Ryou’s fixation with horror movies, but that fear was soon forgotten due to a wandering hand…

#34 - Lightning/Thunder:
Despite his hatred for rain, Malik was entranced by lightning - he’d never seen anything so unusually beautiful, and they way it reflected in Ryou’s eyes only made it more so.

#35 - Bonds:
“That’s the last time I take suggestions from the thief,” Malik said as he picked at the lock on the handcuffs - Ryou simply pouted and nodded in response, as his arms were twisted in a rather painful position.

#36 - Market:
“M-Malik-kun, this… ahh… isn’t the time, or… place for this,” Ryou groaned; he hadn’t objected to Malik snuggling up behind him, as it was quite cold in the frozen foods section, but if Malik kept this up, they’d be thrown out of the store.

#37 - Technology:
While he’d been rather confused about the concept of the Internet at first (“People can talk to each other through those electric boxes?!”), once Ryou showed him the ropes, Malik was surfing the Web like he’d been doing it all his life; inwardly, Ryou was a little scared of what he might find in his browser history the next day…

#38 - Gift:
“Here, Malik-kun,” Ryou said with a smile, handing him a box wrapped in brightly-colored paper, “I know the last time you acknowledged your birthday was… less than nice, so… I hope this makes up for it…”

#39 - Smile:
Malik’s smile was contagious - he’d spent so much time smirking and scowling that an actual smile was a welcome sight.

#40 - Innocence:
“You have to try to get the other person off,” Ryou explained when Malik had questioned the concept of ‘chicken fighting’; he would’ve taken the explanation out of context too, but then he reminded himself that this was Ryou talking...

#41 - Completion:
Malik let out a shudder as he looked down at his lover’s face - the look of sheer euphoria on Ryou’s face was enough to drive him completely over the edge.

#42 - Clouds:
“That one looks like Yuugi-kun’s hair,” Ryou said, pointing up at one of the clouds above them; however, with Ryou curled up against his side the way that he was, clouds were the last thing on Malik’s mind.

#43 - Sky:
Twilight was Ryou’s favorite time of the night - that was when parts of the sky would turn the same shade as Malik’s eyes.

#44 - Heaven:
Malik was convinced that Ryou was one of those ‘angels’ he’d heard so much about; surely, no mortal being could be as kind and forgiving as he was.

#45 - Hell:
Ryou had long since stopped believing in the idea of there being a Hell, but he was sure of one thing: any life without Malik would be the closest to Hell one could get.

#46 - Sun:
Looking up at the sun always reminded Ryou of Malik - not only because the sun always shone in his homeland, but because he was bright, warm, and occasionally unrelenting; not to mention, both of them could always make Ryou smile…

#47 - Moon:
…whereas Malik often compared Ryou to the moon: gentle and calm, the brightest light in an otherwise dark expanse; the light of the moon was just as soft as Ryou’s touch.

#48 - Waves:
There had been no large mass of water near the part of Egypt that Malik had come from, so when he went to the beach for the first time, he’d been caught off-guard by a rogue wave; Ryou giggled as he surfaced, spewing salt water.

#49 - Hair:
As he continued to weave his fingers through the ivory strands, Malik smiled to himself - the quiet sounds that Ryou made as a result of his administrations were just too adorable.

#50 - Supernova:
Fireworks were something to be added to the never-ending list of “Things Malik Has Not Seen Due to Being Sheltered for Most of His Life”; the last time he’d seen something so vivid was when Ryou had been dared to streak his hair with several different colors.
