Note: For number 29, the lyrics are from FallOut Boy's "Where is your boy tonight". If you know the cloudreno pairing and have not heard this song, make sure you put it on your 'to do' list. The song goes perfect with these two in my opinion.
1. Comfort
Suddenly, a nightmare-induced sleep wasn’t so bad, considering when he woke, lanky arms would drowsily wrap around him and effortlessly chase away the remaining demons.
2. Kiss
It was somewhat humorous to share such a meaningful swap of hot saliva when their first time had been enforced by the buzzed and clumsy hands of their comrades pushing them together.
3. Soft
For hair that poked out and poked fun at gravity, Reno decided that those blonde locks were far too soft to be gelled.
4. Pain
As cocky and flashy as Reno’s toothy grins were, Cloud couldn’t help but see, instead, the pain he was shielding with it.
5. Potatoes
“Picky much,” Reno quirked a brow when the blonde fingers his food, plucking the plate clean of all the mushy clumps of potato.
6. Rain
Cloud had told himonce that he enjoyed the rain because the sky was shedding the tears he had run dry of, so Reno could only sigh as he watched the blonde stand in the downpour, ready with a towel for when he finally came to his senses.
7. Chocolate
“A… gift…” Cloud repeated after him, staring at the candy bar Reno was so awkwardly offering; truce?
8. Happiness
Ironic, Cloud mused, curled up and spooned against his one time enemy, and soft warm snoozing tickling his ear, that this is what happiness felt like.
9. Telephone
He wondered what the point of a getaway vacation was when he gazed at his phone only to see 48 missed calls, all from Reno.
10. Ears
Taking the loop out of Reno’s ear, he replaced it with a wolf trinket, sealing the offer with a lick to the lobe and a kiss to the lips.
11. Name
“Say it,” the redhead moaned, pumping slow and hard, breath raspy and deep and hands gripping the blonde underneath him until Cloud finally, finally, gasped the Turk’s name.
12. Sensual
Cloud mumbled something incoherent as bony fingers trailed up his torso in a teasing way, because he was always so good at teasing; he had it down to an art.
13. Death
He would never tell Cloud how it bothered him when he started to talk about the past and the people he had lost, how much it irked him, because being a Turk was dangerous and Cloud didn’t need another ghost to mourn.
14. Sex
Rushed and hot, and fast-paced; that’s how Reno worked on and off the job, but Cloud quickly learned that he was no different in bed.

It had to be done in the right place, in the right way, with the right pressure; that magic spot that flicked an airy ‘yo’ from Reno’s slightly parted and panting lips.

It scared Cloud to see Reno - Reno of the fucking Turks - drop to his knees and clutch at his clothing, and to feel a moist warmth spread from where the redhead buried his face into his waist, all at the notion of losing the blonde to the likes of a girl.

“Stop that, I was only asking,” Reno grumbled, reacting the only way he knew how, using his palm to dry the ex-soldier’s eyes, “...the Turks aren’t my top priority anymore so just forget what I said.”

In a wrestling match, Cloud knew he stood no chance - he had seen Reno move and it was agile and quick - so it was no wonder he had ended up on bottom, pinned to the floor and looking up to a victorious grin.

Never a big believer of fairy tales nor a real big romantic, Reno had to admit that Cloud had swept him off his feet like a tornado to a kite.

Only four words and Cloud was flying, and he embraced the flushing redhead as if trying to make him soar too, all because of those four words; “The Turks are finished.”

Sword plunged painfully into his shoulder and the narrow eyes of Sephiroth demanding to know what he cherished most, his mind had flashed the answers in his mind as he took a firm hold of the blade; pearly white teeth, flaming red hair and materia green eyes flashed before his eyes.
22. Jealousy
How dare that girl loop her arm around his, and whisper things into his ear to make him smile, latching her undeserving body to the one that rightfully belonged to him!?
23. Hands
It was Cloud’s hands that finished off the monster after it had knocked him aside, Cloud’s hands that caught him before he could fall completely over the edge, his hands that pulled him up and roamed over his body to check for injuries that weren’t there, and his hands that guided their lips together afterwards.
24. Taste
Cloud didn’t like alcohol and he didn’t like smoke, but when he so spontaneously dove into Reno’s mouth, he decided that smolder and wine has a sweet flavor when mixed.
25. Devotion
There was a difference between devotion and loyalty; the latter belonged to ShinRa, the former to Cloud Strife.
26. Forever
Blue eyes and green eyes pulsed and glowed as they stared into each other, mako-infused and lives tainted, they would always be connected, whether they liked it or not.

“Crimson tears,” Cloud uttered softly in dark poetry as he helped smear away the red that spilled down Reno’s face from the high curve of his cheekbones.
28. Sickness
Intoxicating smell, flawless complexion, brooding expression, the blonde was all he could think about; it was like a disease.

It was only after a long night spent with the silver haired God had he overheard Reno, who could apparently sing, strolling the slums; “…but you hate him more than you know… You need him, I could be him, I could be an accident but I’m still trying; that’s more than I can say for him.”

He took the Turk’s hand and helped him to trace the constellation, explaining what he knew about the zodiac, their myths, and the concept of wishing.
31. Home
Home was never where he went to sleep, or ate his meals, but the arms of someone he loved, someone who always reminded him how stupid he could be.
32. Confusing
Cloud certainly was a confusing creature, perfectly alright one moment, down in the dumps and reminiscing in the next, but Reno loved both parts of him equally, confounding as it was.
33. Fear
Nights like these, when Cloud talks to himself and wraps his arms around his whole body, that Reno wonders if the blonde’s finally lost hold of his sanity.
34. Lightning / Thunder
Opposites attract, he thought; Reno was a quick blur of heat and pent up rage, Cloud was thorough and assertively focused, like a raging storm.
35. Bonds
It’s not so bad of a prank Yuffie pulled; waking up next to Cloud Strife with both of their wrists secured tightly to one another’s - not so bad at all.
36. Market
He’d left Leon early that morning to go to the Market to think; he had been unsettled because he could feel Sephiroth and had told a young Sora this, neglecting to mention he could feel Reno as well.
37. Technology
Camera phones - what a nice thing to have when it’s the only source of contact you have with someone you love while you're away, but with Yuffie shouting to everybody that your looking at porn on your phone, only to realize soon after that its actually a familiar redhead on the screen, Cloud wonders if technology is really something to bring along on these kinda of trips.
38. Gift
What could Reno possible give to him, Cloud wonders when he takes off his blindfold as commanded, only to see a rose petal littered bed with rumpled sheets and Reno nude in the center, large bow wrapped around his thin frame.
39. Smile
Mashing his fingers into Cloud’s flesh, he wriggled them until the blonde cracked a grin with the bonus of laughter; it was the only way he could think to see the boy smile.
40. Innocence
Regardless of the mako and death and soldier, Cloud would always remain somehow pure and untouched in Reno’s eyes, because he was just that much better than everyone else by still being able to hold onto that small piece of hope, no matter how small it might be.
41. Completion
In on loud exclamation, Reno spilled onto the floor and slumped in exhaustion, and as Cloud pulled out and collapsed next to him, he was finally complete.

He chuckled as he lay on the grassy fields with the blue-eyed boy, before popping the question; “So, who came up with the name Cloud, anyway?”
43. Sky
He wanted to reach up, curl his fingers around the moon and pocket it for Cloud for later; he deserved the moon, and the stars, but he supposed the whole sky was just as good.
44. Heaven
A full pack of cigarettes and a full beer in his hand was heaven, until Cloud strolled into the bar - no, now it was Heaven.
45. Hell
Midgar was in shambles, but when he saw his Cloud wondering the rubble, he discovered even hell could have its angels.
46. Sun
Even after meteor and Midgar’s semi-fall, and even with Cloud’s gloomy moods, he somehow lit up the room, so Reno concluded in the sorry excuse of a planet, Cloud was the sun.
47. Moon
Who knew Strife had it in him, bending over in his drunken state and baring his ass in Reno’s general direction, causing Reno to blink wide-eyed and drop his own glass of whiskey.
48. Waves
One of the things he loved about Cloud Strife is that his emotions flowed in their fullest sense, a tsunami of passion, of anger when mad, laughter when happy…

How he loved that ruby curtain of silky tendrils flowing over him, caressing his cheek and intoxicating his senses as it shielded them from the rest of the world, where he only had one place to look at that was up at him.

Throwing his head back into the pillow as Cloud climaxed inside of him, he saw stars behind his lids, maybe even a supernova.
